A satin photographic paper from Felix Schoeller, the German family mill that has been making papers for photography since 1895. Its surface carries a fine, pearl-like sheen — not glossy, but not flat either — which catches the light softly and keeps reflections down, so the print stays readable wherever you hang it. What sets it apart is depth: blacks fall away into real darkness rather than settling at a dark grey, and colour holds its richness right through the shadows. That makes it a natural home for photographs — portraits, landscapes, anything with strong contrast or a darker mood — where a matte fine-art paper would soften the very thing you wanted. Substantial in the hand at 240gsm, and printed with pigment inks chosen to hold their colour for the long term.
